Kororo School Access Improvements - James Small Drive

The works are planned to commence on 6 July 2026, weather permitting. These works aligned with the July school holiday period, with the new footpaths to be completed during the holidays. Remaining finishing works will continue after school resumes and are expected to be finalised by 24 July 2026

First Avenue Footpath and Drainage Improvements, Sawtell

This project will deliver improvements to sections of First Avenue in Sawtell between Second Avenue and Boronia Street.

Stadium Drive Footpath & Bus Shelters Upgrade

The City is delivering safety and access upgrades along Stadium Drive from mid-March to mid-July 2026. Works include new footpaths, a pedestrian refuge with solar lighting, bus bays and shelters, road widening, bike lane adjustments and tree planting. The project will improve safety, connectivity and public transport facilities while maintaining access and traffic flow.

Road Renewal Project: Gale and Martin Street, Coramba

This project will repair and resurface the existing pavement at Gale and Martin Street, Coramba, preventing further defects and deterioration.

Len Towels Oval, Nana Glen Reserve Upgrade

The City is upgrading the facilities at Len Towels Oval, Nana Glen to improve the experience for all visitors and support the growing needs of the community.

Emerald Beach Reserve Upgrade: Fiddaman Rd realignment

Works to deliver the final stage of the adopted Emerald Beach Reserve Masterplan will commence in July 2026.

Park Avenue Bus Interchange Upgrade – reVITALise Program

The $1M Park Avenue Bus Interchange upgrade, part of the reVITALise Program, will transform the precinct into a safer, more vibrant, and accessible transport hub. Shaped by extensive community input, final designs are due May 2026, with construction starting July 2026 and completion by late 2026.

Park Beach Reserve – Playground renewal

A new, exciting, and inclusive district playground is coming to Park Beach Reserve.

Lyons Road Footpath and Cycle Lane Project

This project aims to construct footpaths and improve cycle lanes along Lyons Rd, between Toormina Road and De Castella Drive.

North Boambee Valley West Road raising and bridge infrastructure

We are raising the level of North Boambee Road and bridge above the one in 100 year flood level. This will enable further housing supply for the area.

Upper Orara Road Culvert Replacement and Temporary Road Closure

The City of Coffs Harbour is replacing an ageing culvert over Walgarah Creek on Upper Orara Road to improve the safety, reliability and resilience of the local road network. To safely complete the works, Upper Orara Road will be temporarily closed from 3 August 2026 for approximately 10 weeks, weather permitting, with signed detour routes in place.
