Busking

Council can grant permission to busk in public areas such as footpaths. The booking is free but you must obtain public liability insurance. Busking without permission or breaching the conditions can incur a fine of $220. If you wish to busk in a shopping centre you will need to get permission from the shopping centre management.

If you see a busker behaving inappropriately, please report it to Council with enough detail (including photos if possible) so that we can take action.
