Community Engagement

City of Coffs Harbour uses community engagement to inform decisions being made with or on behalf of the community.

The City has legal responsibilities to deliver engagement and participation processes based on the social justice principles of equity, access, participation and rights. This enables diverse voices to be heard by Council when making decisions or taking actions on behalf of the Coffs LGA.

There are two key documents that direct the City’s approach to community engagement:

MyCoffs 2035 Community Strategic Plan 

The MyCoffs 2035 Community Strategic Plan is community led and reflects the community’s aspirations for the Coffs LGA. It sets direction for the City’s planning and decision making over a 10-year period.
