Caring for Country

The theme for this year's Water Week is “Caring for Water and Country”. The Gumbaynggirr word for water is ngaarlu (pronounced nar-loo) and the ocean, gaagal (pronounced ga-gal) is the totem of the Gumbaynggirr Nation. Water is vital for all living things.

Dreamtime Storytime at the Library
