Notice of completion of installation

You must notify the City of Coffs Harbour that you have installed a relocatable home, associated structure or rigid annexe in a caravan park or camping ground. You must do this within 7 days of completing the installation.

Note that installations on flood liable land need to seek approval prior to installation taking place. Installations in manufactured home estates should contact our Compliance team.

Step 1.Check compliance

Ensure the installation complies with the Local Government (Manufactured Home Estates, Caravan Parks, Camping Grounds and Moveable Dwellings) Regulation 2021:

  • Part 3 Division 4 for installation of relocatable homes and associated structures
  • Part 3 Division 5 for installation of rigid annexes

Step 2.Gather documents

The application will need an electronic copy of the following documents:

Owners consent

All installations require permission from the land owner and holder of the approval to operate.

Please print, complete and attach the Owners Details and Consent form(PDF, 203KB)

Compliance plate

Provide Compliance Plate details for the relocatable home, rigid annex or associated structure (refer to Section 158 of The Regulation).

Site drawing

Provide a fully dimensioned diagram of the dwelling site indicating the setback, open space, site delineation and separation distances to demonstrate the requirements of the regulation have been met.

Engineer certificate

Provide an engineer's certificate for the proposed structure confirming that the design is structurally sound and complies with relevant standards and codes (refer to Section 142 of The Regulation).

Step 3.Submit notice

This form requires online payment of fees once submitted. The fees are listed in the form.
