25 March 2015 Innovation Is In

Foodies and producers from across the Coffs Coast gathered in Coffs Harbour on Monday this week for the first workshop in the Growing Innovation Series.

Niel Jacobsen from Food Innovation Australia Ltd facilitated a half day workshop aimed at developing innovation in the agrifood sector in the region.

“It was great to see so many ideas come out of the workshop today. There is something exciting happening in the Agrifood Industry up here in Coffs Harbour and I look forward to being a part of it,” he said.

“Enterprise Coffs is working hard to deliver a range of workshops to the industry that deliver on the feedback from last year’s Food Forum. Over thirty people attended today’s event and we hope to get even more people along to the next workshop in May.”

Even if you have missed this first event, organisers are keen for more new faces to attend the next workshop.

The next workshop will be held on Tuesday 12 May 2015 at Six Degrees Coworking Coffs Harbour. To register please contact Sue Mills on 02 6648 4087 or sue.mills@chcc.nsw.gov.au
