Notice is hereby given that Council proposes to sell Council owned operational land known as Lot 50 Section 2 DP 21528 located between Eleventh and Circular Avenues, Sawtell.
The owners of the adjacent properties, through an Expression of Interest process, are invited to make offers on relevant portions of the property on the basis that:
- The land will be subdivided and consolidated into the adjacent properties.
- Half of the land fronting Eleventh Avenue being purchased by either the owners of No.23 (Lot 17) or No.25 (Lot 18) Eleventh Avenue, Sawtell.
- Half of the land fronting Circular Avenue being purchased by either the owners of No.17 (Lot 38) or No.19 (Lot 39) Circular Avenue, Sawtell.
- The creation of all necessary service easements in favour of Council to enable continued access to the land and underground infrastructure.
- The purchasers paying fair market value for acquisition of each subdivided section of the land.
- The purchasers meeting all costs associated with the above.
A further report will be provided to Council for determination of this matter.

How to make a submission
Any person is entitled to make a submission to Council in regard to the proposed sale.
Submissions must be:
- made in writing
- addressed to The General Manager
- identified as a “Submission on Proposed Sale of Council owned land between Eleventh and Circular Avenues Sawtell – IR:7299718”
- delivered, posted or emailed to Council - see our contact details, and
- lodged with Council on or before 17 December 2021.
