City Unveils Exciting List of Community Environmental Projects
Published on 27 June 2023
City of Coffs Harbour is excited to continue its long commitment to environmental conservation and sustainability by announcing the list of projects that have received funding from its 2023/24 Environmental Levy Grants Program (ELGP).
Under the ELGP, grants are available to community organisations for projects starting from 1 July each financial year, worth between $2,000 and $25,000 per project. The objectives of the ELGP are to ensure that the allocation of Environmental Levy funds support the achievement of the MyCoffs Community Strategic Plan - a natural environment sustained for the future.
“The City received an amazing response this year, with funding confirmed for 17 different community organisations and 21 different projects totalling $362,908,” said Natalia Cowley, General Manager at City of Coffs Harbour.
“These projects represent a diverse range of environmental initiatives that align with the City’s vision for a sustainable and thriving community. I can’t wait to see them get underway.”
