Make Music Australia Day - Join the Worldwide celebration of music on the Coffs Coast

Make Music Australia Day is a free celebration of music making around the world on June 21. It has grown as a global celebration of music making across more than 1000 cities around the world. Unlike a typical music festival, anyone and everyone is invited to join in and play music, or host performances.

Every kind of musician - young and old, amateur and professional, of every musical persuasion - can organise their own gig, or join the many organisations that will host events, to share their music with friends, neighbours, and strangers. All of it is free and open to the public.

How to participate

Create your own Make Music Day event where you live, socialise or at your school or club! Use a park, community venue or shopping centre.

You could be a community music club or group gathering for a big annual event or small workshop.

Submit your event to the MyCommunity Diary to list it here with the program of local events. Simply enter the tag 'Make Music Australia'.

Visit the Make Music Australia website for more information on the Worldwide celebration.
