From Monday March 4 the pedestrian footbridge will be closed between 6am- 6pm. Alternative access to Boambee Bay Reserve from the Headland Car Park is still available from Sawtell Road.
The headlands are popular for watching the migrating whales and taking in the incredible coastline views.
