Sawtell Main Beach

Sawtell beach is home to the Sawtell Surf Club and is a popular surf, swimming and fishing beach.

At the southern end of Sawtell Beach you will find Sailors Bay, a small island which can be reached at low tide and tidal rock pools. See our Coffs Coast tourism website for nearby atrractions and places to eat

The main surf beach is patrolled daily during most of the summer (see details under 'Hours' on this page).

Boat launch

Sailors Bay at the southern end of Sawtell Beach has a boat launching ramp. Vehicles are permitted to launch and retrieve boats and can park on the beach. See details of the launch area in the map below.
