Below, you'll find helpful information about our recruitment process and some tips and tricks to guide you along the way. Before Applying:
Review the position description to ensure the role is the right fit for you. We recommend downloading the position description before the closing date so you can refer to it later.
Update your resume so it gives a great first impression and include a compelling cover letter detailing how your skills and experience make you a great candidate for the role and the City.
Time to Apply:
Visit our Careers Page and find your desired position, click "Apply Now" to get started!
Take your time to complete the application form accurately. You will be asked some questions specific to the role in which you are applying for. You will need to answer all of the questions in the application form to progress. Remember! Each question is an opportunity to showcase your attributes, skills and future goals.
Your completed application form can be supported by uploading any/all of the following; resume, cover letter (both can be in either Word doc, PDF, or JPG format) or LinkedIn Profile. Simply click "Submit" and wait for a confirmation email.
What happens from here?
Our recruitment process has a number of elements, including interviews (formal and informal) along with various checks on things such as; qualifications, pre-employment medical, qualifications, criminal records and referees.
Applications will be assessed with particular consideration for the key responsibilities and requirements of the position as outlined in the Position Description.
