Emerald Beach

Looking onto Emerald Beach from an entrance path

Emerald Beach is a quieter and picturesque beach just 20 km north of Coffs Harbour.

The beach is popular with families and for surfing and swimming.

Emerald Beach is patrolled by Lifeguards during part of the Christmas holidays (see details under 'Hours' on this page).

There is a rescue tube in a storage box at Emerald Beach Reserve. Find out more about rescue tubes and how to use them

The walk to Look At Me Now headland is a favourite activity. Visit our Coffs Coast tourism website for more nearby attractions and places to eat

Stay safe

Always swim between the flags. Watch our short beach safety video below and check out our Lifeguards' tips on water safety.
