Get Ready for Autumn Holiday Fun in Coffs!
These April school holidays are all about imagination, adventure and getting hands-on, with a program designed to keep kids curious, creative, and connected to our community.
This school holidays also brings RELICS: The Exhibition to Yarrila Arts and Museum - an immersive exhibition where everyday objects transform into incredible LEGO® worlds. With interactive displays, creative workshops and hands-on play spaces, RELICS adds an extra layer of imagination and discovery to the holiday program.
Whether you’re building rockets, recording your own music, discovering wildlife, or diving into imaginative play, this program is packed with opportunities for families to learn, create, and explore together. Free drop-in activities, creative challenges and outdoor adventures round out a schedule designed to spark curiosity and keep young minds busy.
Other highlights include:
- Creative workshops in painting, printmaking and digital arts - including RELICS-inspired activities that bring imagination to life
- High-energy performances, magic shows and family-friendly films to entertain all ages
- Interactive STEAM activities and hands-on challenges designed to inspire our future makers and problem-solvers
With a Festival of Rugby, youth-led experiences and plenty of free activities across the region, this school holiday program has something to suit everyone.

Music Makers with Memo
Come and learn to make and record music during the school holidays.
Facilitated by local musician and conservatorium teacher Memo Beltzer, this fun workshop will be a mix of songwriting, composition, and recording that encourages creativity with music.

Kids Flicks: Flow (the movie)
Lights down, adventure on! Join us at the library for Kids Flicks, our playful school holiday movie series made just for kids and families.
Our first flick is Flow (PG), a magical journey across a flooded world, where a brave little cat learns that home isn’t just a place, it’s where your friends are.

Coffs Harbour Banana World Record Attempt
Coffs Harbour is about to get a little bit bananas, and you’re invited to be part of it. Join them to form a giant banana and make history. And while you’re there, vote for Coffs as NSW’s Top Tourist Town. Come along to Jetty Beach and be part of the banana formation. Bring your friends, family or workmates — the more people, the better the banana will look.

Festival of Rugby International Exhibition Match
The Coffs Coast Festival of Rugby brings a week of action to the region, featuring international teams from Japan and Fiji, Australia’s rising stars, and a packed program for players, fans and families.
Enjoy a festival-style celebration of rugby, with headline matches under lights at C.ex Coffs International Stadium alongside juniors, women’s and community games across the week.
