Friends of Parks Program
The Friends of Parks Program is a vibrant community initiative that empowers residents to take an active role in caring for Coffs Harbour’s parks and reserves. With 50 dedicated members, the program continues to grow and thrive.
What our volunteers do
Our volunteers generously contribute their time and energy to help maintain and enhance local green spaces. Working alongside City staff, they:
- Mow and brush-cut designated areas
- Assist with garden pruning under supervision
- Help create cleaner, safer, and more welcoming public spaces
How it works
Volunteers are provided with access to equipment and support from the City’s maintenance teams. Whether you're passionate about the environment, enjoy hands-on work, or want to connect with your community, the Friends of Parks Program offers a meaningful way to get involved.
