Community Arts and Cultural Development Grants

Community Arts Grants

Applications are now open for the Coffs Harbour City Council Arts and Cultural Development Grant Program.

Funding assistance of between $2,000 and $5,000 will be available to support for events and projects.

Applications for the 2018/19 funding round closed on Monday 14 May 2018.

Coffs Harbour City Council is committed to the vitality of the arts and cultural life of the Coffs region and appreciates its importance to the social health and economic life of its communities. This grant program supports new and exciting projects and initiatives that reflect the goals of Council’s Cultural Policy and the Creative Coffs Cultural Strategic Plan 2017-2022 which forms the foundation of the selection criteria.

For project ideas, please refer to the identified strategies set-out in Council’s Creative Coffs Cultural Strategic Plan 2017-2022.

Total funding for the program is $35,000.

Priority will be given to projects which develop partnerships, skills and have ongoing benefits for the community.

In preparing your grant application it is strongly advised to:

  • Use the Response Planning Guide to plan the answers to the grant questions first and transfer this information into the on line application.
  • Gather all electronic documents such as letters of support, certificates of currency for insurance, copy of your financial statements etc. so you can upload them as required.
  • Read the Arts and Cultural Development Grant Guidelines before submitting an application.
  • Discuss your application with Council’s Cultural Development, Gallery and History Services Coordinator on 02 6648 4904, 0409 876 432 or via email.
