Every council is required under legislation to have a Community Strategic Plan. It is a council’s main strategic document and a roadmap for the future of a city.
The MyCoffs Community Strategic Plan was originally developed in 2009 in collaboration with our community and reviewed in 2016, 2022 and 2025 through community consultation.
MyCoffs 2035 has been developed by the City on behalf of the community, setting out the long-term vision for Coffs Harbour to be Connected, Sustainable and Thriving.
As a top-level strategic guide, the MyCoffs Plan outlines the objectives that will guide the City’s policies, programs, and services – across four key themes:
- Community Wellbeing
- Community Prosperity
- A Place for Community
- Sustainable Community Leadership
It will not only help guide the City’s efforts, but also local efforts of the Australian and NSW governments and other stakeholders such as not-for-profit organisations, businesses, and the broader community.
