This privacy notice is provided by the City of Coffs Harbour ('the City'). We collect your personal information as required for the purpose/s it was provided.

We may collect information such as, your name, address, phone number, email address, and other required information. The supply of this information is voluntary. However, choosing not to provide this information may delay or prohibit the provision of our services.

We may disclose your information to third parties for legislatively prescribed purposes. An example of this would be in response to an information access application under the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009. However, you would be consulted to provide your consent or objection to the release of any of your personal identifying information.

Your information may be provided to other agencies, in accordance with section 4.12 of the Privacy Code of Practice for Local Government established under the Privacy and Personal Information Protection Act 1998 (the “PPIP Act”).

You have the right to request access to any of your personal information held by the City. You can correct any inaccurate or outdated personal information we hold about you. You can withdraw your consent for the collection and use of your personal information at any time. Please contact us for more information concerning the collection, accuracy, or use of your personal information.

We have implemented appropriate security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, if you have any concerns about how we handle your personal information, you can lodge a complaint with us via the following avenues:
