Youth Foyer

The City of Coffs Harbour has prioritised Initiative 9 – Crisis care and transitional housing – of the Homelessness Strategy. We are advocating to the NSW Government for funding to construct a Youth Foyer in the Coffs Harbour City Centre.

Youth Foyer’s are a supported housing model for young people aged 16 to 24 that are, or are at risk of becoming, homeless. They provide stable accommodation with direct access to education, employment and personal development coaching.

A forum was held during NAIDOC Week 2026, to discuss the benefits of, and pathways to, having a Youth Foyer built for the Coffs Harbour community. Mayor Nikki Williams put the call out to community to help us advocate to State and Federal Governments to provide the funding required to get this project off the ground.
