Woolgoolga Region Estuaries Coastal Management Program

No longer on display. Expired on 29 March 2022, 05:00 PM

The draft Woolgoolga Region Estuaries Coastal Management Program (Stage 4) contains a list of actions to help improve the future health and enhance the recreation opportunities of:

  • Darkum Creek
  • Woolgoolga Lake
  • Willis Creek and
  • Hearnes Lake

The Program is open for community input from the 28 February to 29 March 2022.

Throughout the development of the draft Program, we’ve consulted with residents and stakeholders to identify the aspects of the estuaries that the community values most highly and what the main risks and threats are to these values.

The draft Coastal Management Program presents a series of management options to mitigate these risks and to guide the management of the estuaries into the future. These have been summarised in the Program into a series of key actions.

The exhibition period is from Monday the 28 February 2022 to close of business on Thursday 29 March 2022.

The draft Coastal Management Program (stage 4 report) can be viewed online on Council’s Have Your Say Page where online submissions can be made.

Written submissions can also be made to the General Manager, Coffs Harbour City Council, Locked Bag 155, Coffs Harbour 2450, or emailed to coffs.council@chcc.nsw.gov.au.
