COFFS HARBOUR LOCAL ENVIRONMENTAL PLAN 2013 – AMENDMENT NO. 29 (COASTAL VULNERABILITY AREA); COFFS HARBOUR DEVELOPMENT CONTROL PLAN 2015 – AMENDMENT NO. 21 (COASTAL VULNERABILITY AREA)
Notice is hereby given that Council, at its Ordinary Meeting of 25 August 2022 resolved to make Coffs Harbour Local Environmental Plan 2013 - Amendment Number 29 (Coastal Vulnerability Area), comprising amendments relating to include Coastal Vulnerability Area mapping for the Coffs Harbour Local Government Area within the State Environmental Planning Policy (Resilience and Hazards) 2021 and to subsequently remove Clause 7.7 Limited Development on Foreshore Area from Coffs Harbour Local Environmental Plan 2013.
On 28 July 2023, Coffs Harbour Local Environmental Plan 2013 - Amendment No 29 (Coastal Vulnerability Area) was made by the Minister for Planning and Public Spaces pursuant to Section 3.36 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979. Coffs Harbour Local Environmental Plan 2013 - Amendment No 29 (Coastal Vulnerability Area) will be published in the NSW Government Legislation website and will be in effect from that date.
Notice is hereby given that Council, at its Ordinary Meeting of 25 August 2022 also resolved to approve Coffs Harbour Development Control Plan 2015 - Amendment Number 21 (Coastal Vulnerability Area) comprising amendments that clarify the criteria outlined within State Environmental Planning Policy (Resilience and Hazards) 2021, relating to information required to support development proposals.
Pursuant to Part 3, Division 3 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Regulation 2000, Coffs Harbour Development Control Plan 2015 - Amendment Number 29 (Coastal Vulnerability Area) will also come into effect when Coffs Harbour Local Environmental Plan 2013 - Amendment No 29 (Coastal Vulnerability Area) is published in the NSW Government Legislation website.
Coffs Harbour Local Environmental Plan 2013; Coffs Harbour Development Control Plan 2015 can be viewed on the City’s website at www.coffsharbour.nsw.gov.au.
