Lyons Road Footpath and Cycle Lane Project

This project aims to construct footpaths and improve cycle lanes along Lyons Rd, between Toormina Road and De Castella Drive.   

The construction will take place on the Lyons Road reserve at the back of properties. The footpath will be positioned closer to the property boundaries, while cycle lanes will be marked directly on the road.  

Key Dates: 

  • Tender for Design and Construct: Closed 19 March 2025 
  • Design Completion: Expected by end of June 2025 
  • Construction Phase: Expected to begin in July 2026 and finish December 2026

Residents around the western end of Lyons Road and Bayldon Primary School will be informed of the project plans and construction schedule.
