Mullaway Beach Reserve Revitalisation Project

  • Project stageConstruction complete
New pathway with patk benches

A new beach shower, accessible car parking and linking pathway were installed at Mullaway Beach Reserve in November 2022.

These improvements complement the new play attractions, sheltered picnic table, pathways, seating, bubbler and the yarning circle, completed in the Reserve earlier in 2022.

The Concept Design was developed in consultation with the community in 2021. It proposes future improvements such as an upgraded barbecue shelter, picnic shelter and additional footpath connections, to be built as funding becomes available.

Project scope

  • play space that meets NSW Everyone-Can-Play guidelines
  • designated parking for people with accessibility needs
  • accessible toilet block that meets NSW Safer-By-Design principals
  • accessible pathway links from car park to amenities

Funding

Funding for the $470,000 project package was provided by the Coffs Coast Regional Park Trust Board and Coffs Harbour City Council.
