The existing children's playground at Lowanna is scheduled for an update to improve play opportunities for children and families residing in and visiting Lowanna.
Improvements in this upgrade will include:
New playground and play equipment
Connecting footpath
Construction scheduled to commence September 15, 2025, this area of the reserve will be closed during construction.
A community workshop was held at Lowanna Shop on Wednesday 26 March 2025 between 3-4pm. Local school children and members of the community we're invited to attend and vote on the three proposed designs in-person. The results of this consultation were considered in the final decision about the playground design.
