Simple arty happiness for children in the Gallery and the Libraries these Easter holidays.

These school holidays visit the Coffs Harbour Regional Gallery and Libraries for some self-directed activities that school age children will love. All activities have been inspired by the Complex Simplicity exhibition that is currently in the Gallery.

Collect a “Happy HeART” mini art journal, it’s a combination of art and a healthy mind so it is perfect for all children. It has lots of hands-on creating and some reading suggestions for books with interesting stories, that inspire creativity, share happiness, make you smile, and challenge us to move our bodies.

In the gallery, there is The Stop Motion Project giving children an opportunity to create their own animation on the iPads provided while viewing Jan Allsopp’s animation in her exhibition.

And while in the gallery why not let your creativity loose in the exhibition’s interactive space, the “Room without a roof”.
