Coffs Harbour Regional Gallery is bringing you a series of free, monthly, art-focussed workshops to inspire and nurture your creativity while we transition to Yarrila Place. Workshops are available to all members of the community.
Introduction to Figurative Drawing with Jeremy Sheehan

In this three hour workshop you will learn figurative drawing techniques that include mass and volume and you will also be taught new approaches to drawing. This workshop is suitable for adults at beginner level.
Introduction to Telling Stories Through Photography with Brendan Ray from Bay School of Creative Arts

This three hour workshop is an introduction to Digital Photography which includes a basic understanding of your digital camera and getting the most out of your photography by understanding composition, light and narrative. The workshop is designed for people who want to get more out of their photos and be able to tell stories through their images. It is for all ages, levels of experience and areas of interest. It would be beneficial if workshop participants brought their own camera but this is not essential.

Spring Holidays Weaving with Gumbaynggirr Artist Lilly Clegg

Local Gumbaynggirr artist Lilly Clegg will take you through the basics of weaving. This workshop is for beginners or for anyone wanting to experience weaving at your own pace. It is open to all ages including children and families. All materials are supplied.

Come and join accomplished Book Binder Monique Buchbach to learn how to create your very own book out of paper shopping bags. You will learn the stitching and gluing techniques required to bind handmade sustainable books. It is suitable for adult beginners or create at your own level.
