Maintenance Works

Water Main Renewal (upgrading water main from 100mm to 150mm)

Coffs Harbour – Lawson Crescent

Works scheduled from 07/09/2020 for approximately four weeks.  Traffic control and signs in place.  All road users take care at this location.

Footbridge Structural Repairs

Footbridge across Boambee Creek

Boambee Creek Footbridge will be CLOSED until further notice for structural repairs.

Melaleuca Avenue Watermain Upgrade Works

Melaleuca Avenue to Lakeside Reserve

Works scheduled from 03/08/2020 to late September, 2020.  The footbridge (between Melaleuca Ave & Lake Rd) will be mostly open during these works but at times will need to be closed (either completely or for part of the day).  Traffic controllers onsite. Residents and motorists are advised that there will be increased traffic movements, plant operating and equipment being delivered to the work sites.  Please take care at this location.

Concrete Cycleway Repairs

Hogbin Drive between Airport Drive and Sawtell Road (various locations)

Works from 10/08/2020. Signs in place. All road users are to take care at this location. 

Hotmix Patching

Lawson Crescent, Coffs Harbour

Traffic control on site.

K&G and Footpath Works

Roadworks

Toormina - Hogbin Drive (in vicinity Barcoo Court)

Road Pavement Works

Boronia Street, Sawtell (between First Avenue and Eighth Avenue)

Temporary road closure commencing Tuesday 6 October for approximately 8 weeks.  All road users are to take care at this location.  Signage & traffic controllers will be in place.

Water Trunk Main Stage 1

Orara Way, Coramba

Commencing mid-May until approx. late August, 2020.

Location:  from Coramba township, north along Orara Way for approx. 2kms.  Works involve digging & laying pipes alongside Orara Way with 3 road crossings to be undertaken. Traffic will be impacted when road crossings are undertaken.  Signage & traffic control will be in place.  All road users take care at this location

Coffs Bypass Utility Locating & Potholing Works

Pacific Highway (Corner of Bay Dr) / James Small Dr (Sth) / Ballantine Dr & Tranquility Dr / Pacific Highway (Near Kororo School Bus Bay)

Works being undertaken by Transport for NSW

Flood Repairs

Eastern Dorrigo Way, Orara Way, Bucca / Nana Glen areas

General drainage maintenance areas throughout Coffs Harbour LGA.

Numerous assets are damaged due to storm / weather events.  Exercise extreme caution in these areas. Obey signage & traffic controllers

Road & Drainage Rehabilitation

Second Avenue, Third Avenue & part of First Avenue, Arrawarra Headland (temporary road closures in place)

 

Works expected to take 4 months.  All road users to take care at this location & exercise caution.  Traffic Control & signage in place.
