Significant Trees Register

Significant Tree Register

​Trees are an important part of the natural and cultural landscape of Coffs Harbour. They greatly contribute to the areas sense of place, heritage, character and play an important part in both the regions past and future. The Significant Tree Register and Policy recognise and record trees of special importance to create awareness of their contribution to the aesthetic, cultural, historic values of the local area, and improve their management.

You can view the location of the significant trees in the Coffs Harbour LGA via Council’s online mapping viewer. Once you open the map use the identify tool to get further information on the specific tree you with to know about.

If you are interested in nominating a tree for inclusion on the register please read through the Significant Tree Policy and fill in the nomination form.
