Wellbeing Survey

We conduct separate Customer Satisfaction and Community Wellbeing Surveys every two years. 

The Customer Satisfaction Survey was conducted in April 2020 and the survey results are available here.

Due to COVID-19, a decision was made to postpone the Community Wellbeing Survey, however, we are pleased to advise that the 2020 Community Wellbeing Survey will be conducted between 24 August and 6 September 2020.

The 2020 Survey will be conducted by Micromex Research, an independent research company, with residents polled via a telephone survey (landline and mobile).

Conducting the Community Wellbeing survey enables Council to:

  • Capture public opinion about the quality of life in the Coffs Harbour Local Government Area (LGA);
  • Gain feedback on a range of social indicators across categories including Community Inclusiveness and Participation, Civic Leadership, Arts and Cultural Activities, Recreational and Sporting Activities, Environmental Awareness, Community Spaces and Public Facilities;
  • Inform strategy, policy development and service delivery, and
  • Assess community wellbeing to help us track how the broader Coffs Harbour LGA community is progressing in achieving the objectives of the MyCoffs Community Strategic Plan.

The Community Wellbeing Survey is important in providing Council and staff with feedback on community expectations and satisfaction with Council's services and programs.

The proposed timetable for the surveys is below.
