Artist Dean Home will be providing a unique insight into the techniques
he uses to create his celebrated, luminous still life paintings at a
Masterclass at Coffs Harbour Regional Gallery on Saturday, August 27.
His masterful works in this
traditional art form feature dramatic composition and theatrical lighting and

He has held numerous solo exhibitions
throughout Australia and is represented in state, regional and private
collections both in Australia and overseas. His portraiture is held in the
collections of the National Portrait Gallery in Canberra, the National
Australia Bank, Telstra Collection and Artbank collection.

showing ‘Travels under the Red Cliffs’ at the Gallery alongside works by former
Eutick Memorial Still Life Award (EMSLA) winner and significant Australian landscape
artist Angus Nivison and Coffs Harbour artist Helen Young who specialises in

works in art forms that are most often seen as traditional - landscape, still
life and watercolours.
