8 June 2016 Less is More! Declutter Workshop in Coffs

Are you surrounded by clutter? Then the ‘Less is More!’ workshop is for you! Learn how to declutter your home (and your life) so you have more space for the things that matter.

Coffs Harbour City Council and MidWaste have developed a new Declutter workshop program to help residents learn how to declutter their home and dispose of excess stuff sustainably. The workshop will provide residents with useful declutter tips and tools as well as teaching them how to prevent the clutter returning.

Wendy Grant from MIDWASTE said ‘the Less is More! Workshops are a fun and engaging way to help people think about their stuff, what matters for them and learn tips and tricks for managing clutter more effectively, with up to date information of more appropriate disposal options then just tossing it all out’.

Coffs Harbour Mayor, Councillor Denise Knight, says she is a massive fan of decluttering.

“There’s nothing more satisfying than clearing out all that stuff you just seem to accumulate over the years but no longer have a use for – and what better way to do it than sustainably,” she said.

The Less is More! Workshop is at the Harry Bailey Memorial Library, 27 Duke Street Coffs Harbour, on Tuesday 21st June between 6 – 8.00pm with a free supper provided. Phone 6648 4664 to register.

This project is a NSW EPA Waste Less, Recycle More initiative funded from the waste levy.
