2 May 2016 Harbourside Markets Fashion Exchange

Do you want to update your wardrobe in a sustainable and affordable way? Local residents are invited to participate in the Harbourside Markets Fashion Exchange event on Sunday 5th June at the Harbourside Markets between 10am and 2pm to celebrate World Environment Day.

Residents can drop off good quality, clean, pre-loved clothing before 9am and will receive tokens in exchange for ‘purchase’ of other items at the event.

The Fashion Exchange will be a fun and interactive way to update your wardrobe and accessories for free, making it a great alternative to buying new and is brought to the Harbourside Markets by MIDWASTE Regional Waste Forum, Coffs Harbour City Council, Coffs Harbour Making a Difference and Your Kaos organised.

MIDWASTE Project Manager Wendy Grant welcomes all fashion orientated residents to get involved and ‘to come along for a fun sustainable event that enables us to re-use our pre-loved clothes in a creative way’.

To be involved, just drop off your pre-loved, good quality clothes or fashion items on Sunday 5th June before 9am at the Harbourside Markets, Jordan Esplanade, Coffs Harbour and the exchange will run between 10am and 2pm.
