30 March 2016 From Idea to MVP

The latest buzz word hitting the start-up scene MVP (MinimumViable Product) looks at how you test and validate your ideas with the least amount of work required. This is the focus behind the Idea to MVP workshop being hosted as part of the Telstra Stores Coffs Harbour Digital Innovation Challenge workshop on Wednesday April 6, from 9am at Six Degrees Coworking.

Facilitator Aaron Birkby is the Entrepreneur in Residence at Steve Baxter’s River City Labs Accelerator in Brisbane. He has an impressive resume including being  the co-founder and primary sponsor of the Silicon Lakes startup incubator on the Gold Coast where he developed and delivered the StartUp Really Fast (SURF) accelerator in 2014. He also founded Arinda Internet, a backend cloud-based ISP billing and authentication system for public internet access, which he grew to 6 million users with over 2000 points of presence in 9 countries.

Aaron plays an active role in building the Queensland startup ecosystem, including being the most active Startup Weekend facilitator in Australia, a board member of Startup Weekend Australia and the former Commercialisation Manager at the Department of Science and Innovation.

The workshop will provide a kit full of tools that will help you assess your current ideas and line you up for success in the future.

Take your idea and get moving in the right direction quickly and efficiently.

“This is a fantastic opportunity for entrepreneurs on the Coffs Coast to take their ideas and get them moving in the right direction quickly and efficiently. Attendees can hone their concepts in preparation for entering the Telstra Stores Coffs Harbour Digital Innovation Challenge with one of Australia’s leading experts in the digital start-up realm, “ said Stephen Saunders, Section Leader, City Prosperity.
