7 July 2016 Christmas in July

The recent cold weather has many people thinking about celebrating Christmas in July – but in Coffs Harbour we want you to turn your thoughts to Carols by Candlelight.

“It’s probably only a matter of weeks before shops start reminding us how many sleeps there are until Christmas Day  – and we want to get in first by making sure that everyone in Coffs puts December 17 in their calendars so they don’t miss out on this year’s Carols by Candlelight,” said Coffs Harbour Mayor, Councillor Denise Knight.

“Last year’s event in Brelsford Park was a great success and we want to build on that this year by seeing record numbers of people come along.

“It will have all the most popular acts – Santa’s arrival, carol singing, choirs, kids rides and fun, food stalls and, of course, fireworks.

“Put it in your diary now – December 17, Brelsford Park.”

As details are firmed up in the coming months, Council will keep the community up-to-date on what they can expect on the night.
