3 December 2015 Lips are Sealed at Gallery Auction

The region’s best artists have offered their work to support Coffs Harbour Regional Gallery’s first ever silent art auction. The auction will be held Thursday December 10 at the Coffs Harbour Regional Gallery and will be a fundraiser to support a major artist’s camp to be held in the region in 2016.

Several new and emerging artists, along with a number of well know painters, sculptors and ceramicists are supporting the event. Works by artists such as Guy Gilmour, Isabel Ricketts, Nicholas Kachel, Elisa Hall, Peter Wade, Genevieve Dellar, Jane Wilson and many, many more will be available for purchase.

Chris Kirkman, area manager for De Bortoli Wines, a family run firm is also supporting the event and will unveil De Bortoli’s new range of delicious King Valley wines for guests to sample.

“The Auction is a wonderful opportunity to purchase quality art work at very good prices for oneself, or as absolutely unique Christmas gifts,” said Galleries and Museum Director, Dr. Leigh Summers.

“It is fantastic to have the support of Chris and De Bortoli who I’m pleased to announce are also brand new sponsors of the Coffs Harbour Regional Gallery.”

Chris will be offering very special deals on Christmas orders and these can be delivered before Christmas.

Everyone over 18 is welcome to attend this FREE event, and whether your tipple is red, white or bubbles you can enjoy them all, nibbles, and hopefully take home a fantastic work of art.
