21 July 2015 Clean and Green

Are you interested in learning more about green cleaning around the home? The FREE Living Lightly Sustainability Workshop being held this Sunday, 26 July from 10.30am will answer all your questions about the impact of chemicals found in regular cleaning products and show how green cleaning can save you money.

Gwen Hanna, a Building Biologist who specialises in Mould Investigation and Remediation, will be presenting the workshop at the Coffs Regional Community Gardens.

Topics covered in the workshop will include the benefits of green cleaning, safe and cheap products you will need to clean your home, the health and environmental impacts of commercial cleaning products and simple recipes to have your home sparkling. There will also be plenty of time for discussion and participants are invited to enjoy refreshments after the workshop and explore the Coffs Regional Community Gardens.

“This workshop is a great opportunity for people to come along and learn how to save time and money, free up space in their cupboards, and make their home a healthier place” said Gwen.

Bookings are essential and can be made at http://www.ourlivingcoast.com.au/workshop/green-cleaning-around-the-home/

This workshop is part of the Living Lightly Sustainability Workshops run in partnership between Coffs Harbour City Council and the Coffs Regional Community Gardens. For further enquiries, please call Nicole Larkin on 6648 4643 (Wed-Fri).
