Work Experience

From time to time, Coffs Harbour City Council is able to offer students undertaking secondary or tertiary studies the opportunity to gain relevant unpaid work experience that compliments their study, and must be linked to educational outcomes.

Please send an email request to us ensuring that the following details are included:

  • Contact details
  • Details of institutions and course
  • Requested dates / hours
  • Type of work experience required
  • Area of interest (please note Coffs Harbour City Council covers a broad range of disciplines, please be specific in your request)
  • Insurance papers that will cover you while undertaking work experience from your institution. All students need to provide evidence they are covered by insurance indemnity.

We will seek to meet the requests wherever possible, however it will depend on whether the relevant division has the resources available to accommodate the placement.
