Coffs Harbour Local Environmental Plan 2013 (Amendment 32) - Planning Proposal PP-2021-4487 to amend the Minimum Lot Size Map at 116 Braford Drive, Bonville.

Council at its Ordinary meeting of 8 July 2021, resolved to initiate an amendment to Coffs Harbour Local Environmental Plan (LEP) 2013, and to seek a Gateway Determination for the Planning Proposal from the Minister for Planning and Public Spaces.

The objective and intended outcomes of the proposed LEP Amendment are to reduce the minimum lot size that applies to the land from one hectare to 6,000 square metres in order to allow a development application to be made for subdivision of the land into two lots.

On the 23rd July 2021, the Minister for Planning and Public Spaces, determined pursuant to Section 3.34(2) of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 that the proposed LEP amendment could proceed and authorised Coffs Harbour City Council to exercise its delegation to make the Plan.

In accordance with the Minister’s determination and Council’s resolution, the proposed LEP amendment is now publicly available for community consultation.

The exhibition period is from Monday, 23 August 2021 to close of business on Monday, 6 September 2021.

The proposed LEP can be viewed online on Council’s Have Your Say Page where online submissions can be made.
