Small children playing on equipment at Nana Glen playground

A new children's playground, designed with input from local residents, has now been completed at Len Towell's oval in Nana Glen.

The playground design follows guidelines in the Coffs Harbour Open Space Strategy 2010 which the community contributed to via surveys of households, students, schools and relevant associations as well as liaison with sports clubs and stakeholder workshops.

A new Public Realm Strategy is currently being developed. This includes not just green spaces but all external spaces available for public use, such as: streets, forecourts, squares, bicycle and pedestrian links and waterways.

Scope

A new playground at Len Towells Oval catering to small children with picnic table, shelter and carpark. See the concept plan below for details.
