Published on 27 October 2021

Heatmap of storm affected areas

Council’s waste collection contractor will continue to collect in the key affected areas (as shown in heat map image) of Toormina, Boambee, Boambee East, Sawtell and impacted areas of Coffs Harbour of:

  • storm-damaged household bulky items, (please separate metals, mattresses, electronic waste and whitegoods from other bulky items as we collect these separately and recycle them), and
  • large green waste materials that do not fit into the green bin, (please stack separately to household waste)

that are stacked neatly on the kerb until and including Friday 29 October.

Once your storm damaged bulky household materials have been collected, please don't place any further waste on the kerb.

Additional pick ups of green bins have now stopped and will return to normal scheduled weekly collections.

Residents in the affected areas can also bring green waste and/or damaged household items to the Englands Road waste facility free of charge until and including Monday 1 November 2021. Proof of address is required.
