Parents who are keen to raise arts and theatre lovers, and maybe even inspire some future home-grown talent, will love Jetty Theatre’s First Ever Kids Open Day – to be held on Sunday 6 March from 10am-12pm.

The Kids Open Day will be a chance to find out what’s coming up for this increasingly growing audience in 2022.  This free event will feature roving performers, face-painting and some light refreshments in a relaxed and playful atmosphere.

“We’ve managed to pack more kids shows into our program than ever before,” said Natalie Boyle, Theatre Co-ordinator.

“To mark this type of milestone we wanted to create a type of ‘Kids Day Out’.

“Our team are very much looking forward to putting on a party type event and sharing the joy and excitement of the arts with local kids and families.”

The Box Office will be open from 10am-12pm to purchase tickets for any upcoming shows.

2022 highlights for kids include Aria award winners Teeny Tiny Stevies in April and There’s a Sea in my Bedroom – based on the book by Margaret Wild in July, with many more throughout the year.
