Christmas and New Year Closures

  
Description
  

Council's Customer Service / Administration Centre (including Rigby House) will be closed between Christmas and New Year. These offices will close at 4.30pm Friday, 21 December 2018 and re-open for business at 8.30am on Wednesday, 2 January 2019.

During this period, people wishing to report matters of an urgent nature such as water and sewer breaks, dog problems and urgent road maintenance should ring Council's listed phone number (02) 6648 4000.

  

The Coffs Harbour Regional Gallery and Museum will be closed Saturday 22 December and Monday 24 December and Public Holidays (25-26 December and 1 January) - normal opening days/hours (Tuesday to Saturday, 10am to 4pm) otherwise apply.

  

All libraries will be closed Saturday 22 December and Monday 24 December and Public Holidays (25-26 December and 1 January) - normal opening days/hours otherwise apply (see below):

  • The Harry Bailey Memorial Library (central library): Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 6pm; and Saturday 9:30am to 2pm.

  • Toormina and Woolgoolga branch libraries: Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 5pm; and Saturday 9:30am to 12pm.

  

The Jetty Memorial Theatre (Box Office) will be closed Monday 24 December 2018 and re-open at 12.00pm on Wednesday, 2 January 2019.

  

The Community Village (Reception Office) will be closed from Monday, 24 December 2018 and re-open on Wednesday, 2 January 2019.

  

Council's Operational Depots will be closed from Friday, 21 December 2018 and re-open on Wednesday, 2 January 2019.

Waste services will continue as normal with no interruption except for Christmas Day when the weighbridge and public drop off area will be closed.  

Every household within the Coffs Harbour Local Government Area with a domestic three-bin waste collection service will receive an extra recycle (yellow) bin pick-up over the Christmas holiday season.

The additional yellow bin pick-up will be run for a fortnight - from December 27, 2018, until January 9, 2019.

During this period, residents should stick to their regular bin timetable and put their bins out on their usual day, but on the week in that fortnight period that they usually only put out their red and green bins, they can also put their yellow bin out again for collection.
