Step 1.Research our committees

There are four different types of committees: 

• Council committees
• Community venue management committees
• Committees established under legislation
• External committees

You can find out about the functions of committees and the responsibilities of committee members by reading our:

Step 2.Check for current committee vacancies

You can apply to be a member of a Committee that has called for expressions of interest or a direct invitation.

Step 3.Submit committee membership form

You will find the application form in the relevant current vacancies listing.

We will contact you to discuss your application.

If your application is successful, we will provide you with further training and induction once you commence in the role.
