Public Swimming Pools

Public Swimming Pools in Coffs Harbour LGA

In light of the ongoing Coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic and advice from NSW Health the Coffs Harbour War Memorial Olympic Pool will reopen with restrictions in place from Monday 18 May 2020 between 11am - 3pm. People are to call the pool on 02  6652 1779 before making their way to the venue.

Woolgoolga, Orara Valley and Sawtell pools usually operate from September to the end of April. They will remain closed until September 2020.

A review of the closure of the Coffs Harbour War Memorial Swimming Pool will be considered as more information about the length of the current health crisis is known.

Anyone with any questions with regards to Learn to Swim programs or other pool-related activities, is asked to please contact the pool operators who's number you can find below.

Coffs Harbour War Memorial Olympic Pool   

Coffs Harbour War Memorial Olympic Pool is located in Coff Street, Coffs Harbour, at the northern end of Gordon Street. It is a combined enclosed and outdoor pool complex with an outdoor 50m olympic-sized pool, solar-heated enclosed 25m pool heated to 29.5 degrees and zero depth toddler splash pad with soft fall base. The Pool Complex is open all year round.

Woolgoolga Swimming Pool

Woolgoolga Swimming Pool is located at 84 Beach Street, Woolgoolga and is a 25m outdoor pool complex with separate toddler pool and water slide.  The 25m pool and toddlers’ pool are both heated to 28 degrees. The Pool Complex is open from September to the end of April every year.

Orara Valley Swimming Pool 

Orara Valley Community Pool is located next to Nana Glen Public School, Grafton Street, Nana Glen and is a 25m pool outdoor pool complex. The Pool Complex is open from September to April every year.

Sawtell Swimming Pool     

Sawtell Swimming Pool is located in the grounds of Sawtell Beach Holiday Park, 5 Lyons Road, and Sawtell and is a 25m outdoor pool complex with separate toddler pool and indoor 10m pool for swimming classes.  The 25m pool and toddlers’ pool are both heated to 27 degrees. The Pool Complex is open from September to the end of April every year.
