Harmony Week

Following the advice of the Australian Government, World Health Organisation (WHO) and NSW Health, Harmony Festival, which was due to run on Sunday March 29, has been POSTPONED.

Check back here for further updates.

Let's celebrate Australian multiculturalism, and the successful integration of migrants into our community. Australia is one of the most successful multicultural countries in the world and we should celebrate this and work to maintain it.

Harmony Week is about inclusiveness, respect and belonging for all Australians, regardless of cultural or linguistic background, united by a set of core Australian values.

Check out the Harmony Festival facebook event page for most up to date information about the event and please feel free to share.

Harmony Festival is a vibrant and inclusive free community event held annually to celebrate our different cultures together in the beautiful Botanic Gardens.

All people who migrate to Australia bring with them some of their own cultural and religious traditions, as well as taking on many new traditions. Collectively these traditions have enriched our area, and this week is about celebrating everyone's journey to calling Coffs Coast home.

Harmony Festival features the region's finest cultural performance groups and world music acts, The Melting Pot - a tasty cultural food market, Beats & Feets dance tent, Planet Coffs sustainable creative space, and a massive community parade with drum and dance spectacular! Come join us!

Submit your event during Harmony Week to the MyCommunity Diary to list it here with the program of local events. Simply enter the tag 'Harmony Week'.
