Citizenship Ceremonies

COVID-19 Update

Due to COVID-19 pandemic and NSW Health requirements, all Council face to face Citizenship Ceremonies have been postponed until further notice.

The Mayor of Coffs Harbour City Council will join the Department of Home Affairs with hosting one-on-one online virtual Citizenship Ceremonies.  If you are eligible to attend a ceremony the Department or Mayor's Office will contact you to offer you this service at a date and time suitable.

Citizenship Ceremonies are conducted by Coffs Harbour City Council on behalf of the Minister for Home Affairs.

A minimum of three ceremonies are held every year, on or around the following days:

  • Around Australia Day
  • Harmony Day
  • Citizenship Day

Other ceremonies are held throughout the year depending on how many people are on the waiting list.  There are no set dates for these ceremonies.

For any further information please contact 02 6648 4002.
