Tree Removal

Council has a Tree Preservation Order, which requires consent for the removal of trees in certain circumstances.

If you want to report tree clearing that you think breaches Council's Tree Preservation Order, contact Council's Environmental Services branch or Council Rangers on (02) 66484000.

Council generally does not intervene in matters relating to trees such as shading, root invasion or overhanging branches on residential properties.
