Dogs in Public Places

Hearns Lake Beach is dog friendly

There are a number of recreational areas within the Coffs Harbour LGA in which dogs are allowed to be exercised. The provision of these areas is important for the exercise and socialisation of animals as well as for recreational use by owners.

Dogs in public places are generally required to be on a leash and under the effective control of a competent person.

However, dogs may be exercised, unrestrained, in the following leash free areas.
