Downloading Documents
If you have any difficulty downloading documents, then consider:
Has Adobe Acrobat reader software been installed on your computer?
1, In order to access many of our documents, you must have Acrobat Reader on your computer. If you do not already have Adobe Acrobat you are able to download it now for free.
2, If you receive a blank page when you first open a document, first try refreshing the page - press the F5 key in Internet Explorer or Ctrl+R in Navigator.
3, Your system may have trouble displaying Acrobat documents in the browser window. You can check if this is the case by trying to separately download the document as a file -
- right-click the link to the document
- in Internet Explorer, select "Save Target As..."
- note the full folder path where the file is saved and click "Save"
If you can do this successfully, this indicates that your system has problems opening the document in-place. Please contact your computer support team for assistance. In the meantime, you should be able to separately open up the downloaded documents in Adobe Acrobat.
4, If it fails for only some documents, then there may be a problem with those particular files. Please note the document titles and contact Council on (02) 66484000.
