The Coffs Harbour Regional Gallery was established in 2001. It is part of New South Wales' network of 38 regional galleries which are operated by local government, with assistance from the New South Wales Ministry for Arts.
The Gallery has a very flexible exhibiting space of 200 square metres and presents a diverse programme of historical and contemporary exhibitions designed for the enjoyment and education of the community of Coffs Harbour and outlying regions.
Group visits
Visits by schools, TAFE and other organisations are encouraged and the Gallery and staff can be made available outside usual opening hours.
Workshops
The Gallery also runs a number of classes and workshops such as Adult Art, HSC Visual Arts tutorial, children's art classes and special workshops and lectures for Friends of the Gallery. See education program.
Performances
Since mid-2006, the Gallery has been holding Saturday/Sunday Salons, a program of arts and musical performances and workshops on weekend afternoons. The series is currently on hold and may be relaunched at a later date.
